Importing from SWMM v5

Use the Import a SWMM V5 feature to import a system that has been saved in SWMM V5 format.

  1. Select Drainage and Utilities > Home > Model Import/Export > Import Utilities > SWMM v5.
  2. In the Select SWMM v5 File to Import dialog that appears, browse to the directory that you want to import the file from.
  3. Type the name of the .INP file, then click Save.
Note: You can import a SWMM V5 file to both new and existing projects, however, you can only import to existing projects that contain no elements in the model.
Note: You must activate a CivilStorm or a SewerGEMS license before the menu item becomes available.
